Italian restaurant!

先日はちょっぴり優雅なイタリアンレストランへ行ってきました!we went to a nice Italian restaurant the other day.

Il fornaio

It’s in a hotel in San Jose Down town.

The meals were all good.

But the dessert were ok. Not too bad, not so good..

The ceiling was so high!
そして、私が気に入る一番のポイントはパン!when I say nicer restaurants, the must be good with their bread!

だいたいパンが美味しいと食事も美味しい(≧∇≦)if they have nicer bread, it’s going to be my favorite restaurants : )

I asked the waiter that

Do you make your bread by yourself?

they said they used to make it but not now.

Then the waiter served me the bread free!

I gave him a bit more tip.

I recommend this restaurant!

    Maiko-san,

    Hajime mashite.

Hello. I am American from San Jose who has lived in Japan for more than 20 years.

I found your website. It is very interesting!

    I know Il Fornaio.

I recommend Original Joe’s. It’s very close to Il Fornaio and is the most famous restaurant in my hometown.

You have lived in Japan more than 20 years? Which part? How did you find my blog? 🙂
I’m trying to write my post in English but sometimes it’s tiring but… Like you, I will write in English thinking about you and those who read my blog in English! I was motivated by you! Thanks!

Ohh, you must read in Japanese as well!

    Hi Maiko,

I live in Kugenuma-Kaigan, near Enoshima. I found your blog by searching “San Jose blog” on Google. Yours was the second address to come up!

I found your photos and descriptions quite interesting, so I thought I would contact you. It’s nice to see some current view of my hometown.

I am a sports writer for an English newspaper in Tokyo. I moved to Japan in 1994. I was born and raised in San Jose. My mother still lives there.

I hope I can meet you and your family on my next trip back home 🙂
